Job Title: Ranch Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Ranch Manager to oversee the daily operations of our ranch. As the Ranch Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the ranch including animal care, land management, facilities maintenance, and staff supervision. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong leader with excellent communication and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all ranch operations, including animal care, land management, and facilities maintenance.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to optimize ranch productivity and profitability.
• Oversee the health and well-being of all animals on the ranch and ensure proper nutrition, vaccination, and healthcare.
• Monitor and maintain the condition of the ranch land, including pastures, crops, and irrigation systems.
• Manage the purchasing of supplies and equipment needed for the ranch.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to ranch operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other industry professionals.
• Hire, train, and supervise ranch staff, including farmhands and animal caretakers.
• Create and maintain a safe work environment for all employees and visitors to the ranch.
• Monitor and manage the ranch budget to ensure financial goals are met.
• Keep accurate records of all ranch activities, including inventory, expenses, and animal records.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement long-term plans and goals for the ranch.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in ranch management, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of animal care, agriculture, and land management practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Physically fit and able to perform ranch-related tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
