Job Title: Admissions Counselor

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Admissions Counselor to join our team. As an Admissions Counselor, you will be responsible for assisting prospective students in the admissions process and providing them with the necessary information to make informed decisions about their education. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outreach and recruitment activities to attract potential students to our institution
• Guide and counsel prospective students throughout the admissions process, including providing information on program offerings, admission requirements, and financial aid options
• Review and evaluate applications to determine eligibility for admission
• Conduct interviews with applicants to assess their interests and goals, and to determine their fit for our programs
• Serve as a liaison between the institution and prospective students, parents, and educators
• Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and other organizations to promote our institution and increase enrollment
• Plan and execute campus tours and other admissions events
• Provide accurate and timely information to students regarding admission decisions, enrollment procedures, and other related matters
• Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract and retain students
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless admissions process for students
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in admission policies to provide the most current information to prospective students

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in admissions counseling or a related field
• Knowledge of admissions processes and procedures in higher education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management
• Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred
• Passion for helping students achieve their educational goals
