Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in environmental cleanup projects, including site inspections, spill response, and remediation activities.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the health and safety of yourself and your team members.
• Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Operate and maintain equipment and tools used in cleanup activities, such as pumps, hoses, and protective gear.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective cleanup strategies.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify any potential hazards or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all cleanup activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and report any issues or concerns.
• Stay current on industry regulations and best practices related to environmental cleanup.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in environmental science or related field is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in environmental cleanup or similar field.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to hazardous materials handling and disposal.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment used in cleanup activities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing project needs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
