Job Title: Data Architect

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's data architecture. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions to ensure effective and efficient data management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, database design, and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an overall data architecture strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
• Design and implement data models and databases to support business applications and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements, and provide recommendations for data architecture solutions.
• Evaluate and select appropriate data management tools and technologies to support the company's data architecture strategy.
• Define and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
• Lead the design and implementation of data migration, integration, and consolidation projects.
• Conduct regular data audits and performance tuning to ensure data quality and system efficiency.
• Monitor and manage data storage and backup processes to ensure data availability and disaster recovery.
• Act as a subject matter expert on data architecture and provide guidance and support to other team members.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data architecture and incorporate them into the company's data strategy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, database design, or data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.) and ETL tools.
• Experience in designing and implementing data warehouses and data lakes.
• Excellent understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance regulations.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven track record of successfully managing data architecture projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
