Job Title: Senior Accountant

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations and laws. This is a senior-level position that requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Perform monthly and quarterly closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage and review the work of junior accountants, providing guidance and feedback as needed
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
• Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and variances and providing recommendations for improvement
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for presentation to senior management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial tasks and projects
• Assist with financial audits and prepare necessary documentation and reports
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial processes
• Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance and recommending changes as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior-level role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Experience with financial audits and internal controls
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong ethics and integrity
