Job Title: Donor Relations Officer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Donor Relations Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Donor Relations Officer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining relationships with our organization's donors. You will be responsible for managing donor engagement, cultivating new donors, and ensuring retention of current donors. Your expertise in donor relations will be essential in supporting our organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and cultivate new donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and potential donors through regular communication, personalized interactions, and stewardship efforts.
• Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop and execute effective fundraising campaigns and events.
• Conduct research to identify potential funding opportunities and maintain a comprehensive database of donors.
• Create compelling and targeted donor communications, including thank-you letters, impact reports, and other correspondence.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of donations and acknowledgment letters.
• Coordinate and manage special events and donor recognition programs.
• Monitor and analyze donor giving trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Plan and execute donor cultivation visits, meetings, and events to engage donors and strengthen relationships.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure donor stewardship is integrated into all organizational activities.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the organization's mission, programs, and impact to effectively communicate with donors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communication, Marketing, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, or related field.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with donors.
• Experience with fundraising software and donor databases.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
