Position: Senior Civil Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of various civil engineering projects. You will work closely with our clients, project managers, and support staff to ensure the successful completion of each project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design and construction of civil engineering projects, including site development, roadways, utilities, and stormwater management systems.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and other project team members to understand project requirements and develop design solutions that meet their needs.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project sites and gather necessary data for design development.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
• Oversee the work of junior engineers and drafters, providing guidance and mentoring to support their professional growth.
• Ensure that all projects adhere to applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule to ensure that deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
• Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss project updates and address any issues that may arise.
• Conduct quality control reviews to ensure that all work meets project requirements and company standards.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in civil engineering practices and incorporate them into project designs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site development and infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software.
• Strong project management skills and experience leading and managing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
