Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the organization's data storage systems, including storage arrays, backup systems, and data replication processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to storage systems, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
• Proactively identify and address potential storage issues before they escalate.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement storage solutions to meet business requirements.
• Conduct regular performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure optimal performance and scalability of storage systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures for storage systems.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in data storage to continuously improve the organization's storage infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing and maintaining data storage systems, such as SAN, NAS, and DAS.
• Experience with storage technologies, such as RAID, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
• Strong understanding of data backup, recovery, and replication processes.
• Proficient in scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Python.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Relevant certifications, such as SNIA Certified Storage Professional (SCSP) or CompTIA Storage+ will be considered an asset.
