Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to join our team at Forge Factor Metals. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for transforming raw metal materials into finished products according to specifications and blueprints. You will be working with a variety of metals, including steel, aluminum, and copper, and utilizing a range of fabrication techniques such as cutting, bending, welding, and polishing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
• Measure and mark metal materials for cutting and shaping using various tools such as rulers, calipers, and protractors
• Operate fabrication machinery, including shears, saws, drills, and presses, to cut and shape metal materials
• Bend and form metal materials using hand tools or machinery, such as press brakes and rollers
• Assemble and weld metal components using different techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• Polish and grind metal surfaces to achieve a smooth and finished appearance
• Ensure the quality of finished products by conducting visual and dimensional inspections
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the fabrication process
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations
• Collaborate with other team members, such as designers and engineers, to ensure project success and efficiency
• Continuously improve fabrication techniques and processes to increase efficiency and quality of products

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of different types of metal materials and their properties
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Ability to operate fabrication machinery and hand tools
• Skilled in welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• Ability to use measuring tools with precision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and manipulate heavy materials
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes
• Safety-conscious and able to follow safety guidelines and regulations
