Job Title: Package Courier

Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Package Courier to join our team. As a Package Courier, you will be responsible for delivering packages to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver packages to designated locations in a timely manner
• Use handheld devices to track and update delivery status
• Verify package contents and ensure proper handling and storage during transportation
• Load and unload packages from vehicles using proper lifting techniques
• Plan and follow the most efficient delivery route to ensure prompt delivery
• Communicate with customers and respond to any questions or concerns regarding their packages
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records
• Adhere to all safety procedures and traffic laws while driving
• Report any vehicle or delivery issues to the supervisor immediately
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic tracking systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Working Conditions:

• This is a physically demanding job that requires constant lifting, carrying, and loading of packages.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Must be comfortable driving long distances and navigating through traffic.
• This position may require occasional overtime and weekend work.
