Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our growing team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the transportation, distribution, and storage of goods and materials for our company. You will work closely with various departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to warehouses and ultimately to customers.
• Manage all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, distribution, and storage.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are available when needed.
• Negotiate freight rates and contracts with carriers to optimize costs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and warehouse partners.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and laws.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics efficiency.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to streamline logistics operations.
• Work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any logistics-related issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities.
• Train and mentor junior logistics team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws.
• Experience negotiating rates and contracts with carriers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
