Position: Academic Program Manager

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Academic Program Manager to join our team. As an Academic Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the academic programs offered by our organization. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the academic programs, including curriculum development, faculty management, student recruitment, and program evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in higher education, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for promoting academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement academic programs that align with the organization's mission and goals
• Collaborate with faculty to design and update curriculum to meet industry standards and ensure program relevance
• Recruit and hire qualified faculty members to teach in the academic programs
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to faculty, including conducting performance evaluations and identifying professional development opportunities
• Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain a diverse student population
• Oversee the admissions process and ensure that all prospective students meet program requirements
• Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies
• Monitor student progress and provide academic support or intervention as needed
• Manage program budgets and ensure that resources are used efficiently
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accreditation requirements to ensure program compliance
• Foster relationships with industry partners and stakeholders to promote program visibility and create opportunities for students
• Represent the organization at academic conferences and events to promote the programs and build partnerships

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Education, Higher Education Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic program management
• Strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional design principles
• Proven experience in faculty management and development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and requirements
