Job Title: AWS Senior DevOps Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will collaborate closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth and efficient deployment of our applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain our company's AWS cloud infrastructure, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
• Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline the deployment and management of our applications and services.
• Monitor and troubleshoot our AWS infrastructure to identify and resolve any performance issues.
• Work closely with our development team to ensure that our applications are optimized for the AWS environment.
• Implement security best practices and ensure that our cloud infrastructure is compliant with industry standards.
• Collaborate with our operations team to develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and make recommendations for their implementation in our infrastructure.
• Mentor and train junior members of the DevOps team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role, with a strong focus on AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and architecture, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
• Strong experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, DataDog, or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with agile methodologies and working in an agile team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
