Job Title: Health Educator

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Health Educator to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to effectively educate individuals and groups on health-related topics, such as nutrition, physical activity, and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with community organizations and healthcare professionals to promote and implement health education initiatives.
• Plan and facilitate workshops, seminars, and events to engage and educate individuals on health and wellness.
• Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to determine the effectiveness of health education programs.
• Maintain accurate records of program participation and outcomes for reporting purposes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of health policies and procedures.
• Provide one-on-one counseling and support to individuals seeking information and guidance on health-related topics.
• Stay informed on current healthcare policies and regulations to ensure compliance and adherence to standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Public Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in health education, preferably in a community or public health setting.
• Strong knowledge of health education principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and educate diverse populations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using educational technology and online resources.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
