About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Education. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic community and shape the minds of future educators. As an Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for conducting research, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and providing academic and career guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research in the field of education, including but not limited to curriculum development, teaching methods, and educational policies
• Design and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in education, utilizing innovative teaching methods and technologies
• Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters, including course selection, internships, and research opportunities
• Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement educational programs and initiatives
• Participate in departmental and university committees and contribute to the overall academic community
• Maintain and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments to ensure relevance and effectiveness
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and stay current with advancements in the field of education
• Actively participate in scholarly activities, including publishing research articles and presenting at conferences

Qualifications:

• A doctoral degree in Education or a related field is required
• Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level is preferred
• A strong research background, with a record of publications and presentations, is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for teaching and research purposes
