Key Responsibilities:

Host radio shows and engage with listeners through on-air interactions, phone calls, and social media platforms
Create and deliver entertaining and informative content for radio shows, including music selections, interviews, and news updates
Conduct research on current events, trends, and popular culture to incorporate into radio show content
Collaborate with other team members, such as producers and sound engineers, to ensure smooth operation of radio shows
Plan and organize special events, promotions, and contests to increase listener engagement and ratings
Maintain a professional and engaging on-air presence at all times
Attend live events and remote broadcasts to interact with listeners and promote the radio station
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and implement new ideas to enhance the radio show experience for listeners
Adhere to all FCC regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Communications, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radio DJ or similar role
In-depth knowledge of music genres, artists, and current events
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong on-air presence and ability to connect with listeners
Proficiency in using radio broadcasting equipment and software
Familiarity with social media platforms and ability to engage with listeners online
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong organizational and time-management skills
High level of creativity and ability to think outside the box
Must be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
