Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shipbuilding Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Shipbuilding Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the construction of various types of ships and marine vessels. You will work closely with a team of engineers, designers, and naval architects to ensure that our ships are built to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with naval architects and other engineers to develop detailed designs for ships and marine vessels.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis to determine the most efficient and cost-effective methods for building ships.
• Create and review technical specifications and drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Oversee the construction process, conducting regular inspections to ensure that ships are being built according to specifications and within budget.
• Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during the construction process.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in shipbuilding technology and techniques, and integrate them into our processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to source high-quality materials and equipment for ship construction.
• Ensure that all safety and environmental regulations are followed throughout the construction process.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipbuilding, with a proven track record of success.
• Extensive knowledge of ship design and construction processes, materials, and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the shipbuilding industry.
