Position: Language Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Language Quality Assurance Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of all language-related content and materials produced by the company. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of language, grammar, and cultural nuances in order to maintain consistency and accuracy in all materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality standards and processes for all language-related content, including written, spoken, and visual materials.
• Oversee a team of language quality assurance specialists and provide training and guidance to ensure consistent quality across all languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and product managers, to ensure language quality standards are met.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in language trends to continually improve language quality assurance processes.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for third-party language services.
• Manage project timelines and resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality language content.
• Develop and maintain style guides, glossaries, and other reference materials to ensure consistency and accuracy in language usage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in language quality assurance, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of language, grammar, and cultural nuances.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience managing a team and providing training and guidance.
• Proficiency in at least one foreign language is preferred.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with localization processes and tools is a plus.
