Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and supervising the housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms and public areas are kept clean and maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Create and maintain a schedule for the housekeeping staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure all cleaning procedures and standards are followed.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and standards are met.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Handle guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Assist with the recruitment and hiring of new housekeeping staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and standards.
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues.
• Proficient in using computer software, such as Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
