Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain storage solutions on GCP, including object storage, block storage, and file storage
Configure and optimize storage performance and capacity to meet the needs of our applications
Monitor and troubleshoot storage-related issues, ensuring high availability and data integrity
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to understand storage requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs
Participate in capacity planning and forecasting to ensure adequate storage resources for current and future needs
Stay updated with the latest GCP storage technologies and best practices, and make recommendations for their implementation
Automate storage processes and tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts
Document storage configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing storage solutions on GCP or other cloud platforms
Strong understanding of GCP storage services, including Google Cloud Storage, Persistent Disk, and Filestore
Experience with storage optimization and performance tuning techniques
Proficient in scripting and automation tools, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze and resolve complex storage issues
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Google Cloud Platform certifications, such as Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect or Google Certified Professional Cloud Developer, are a plus
