Position: Jewelry Buyer

Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Jewelry Buyer to join our team. As the Jewelry Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing jewelry from various suppliers and manufacturers. Key Responsibilities:

• Source and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers to secure the best pricing and quality for our jewelry collections.
• Continuously monitor market trends and identify new and emerging jewelry designs and styles.
• Work closely with the sales team to understand customer demands and preferences and ensure that our collections align with market needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of inventory.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors to maximize profitability.
• Conduct regular market research to stay updated on competitors' offerings and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotions and marketing campaigns to drive sales.
• Analyze sales data and make purchasing decisions based on inventory levels and customer demand.
• Participate in trade shows and industry events to stay informed about new products and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Jewelry Buyer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of market trends and the ability to identify new and emerging jewelry designs.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
• Ability to travel for trade shows and industry events as needed.
