Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Environmental Education Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental education, as well as a passion for teaching and promoting sustainable behaviors. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs and materials for a variety of audiences, ranging from students to adults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement educational programs related to environmental issues and sustainability.
• Create and deliver engaging and interactive presentations and workshops to a variety of audiences.
• Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and other partners to promote and implement environmental education initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the environmental education field.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on best practices and trends in environmental education.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make improvements as needed.
• Manage and maintain educational materials, including curriculum, lesson plans, and other resources.
• Provide training and support to other team members or volunteers involved in environmental education initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental education, environmental science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental education or a related field.
• Strong understanding of environmental issues and sustainability practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging and interactive presentations.
• Experience working with a variety of audiences, including students, educators, and community members.
• Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for environmental conservation and education.
