Job Title: Character Animator

Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Character Animator to join our creative team. As a Character Animator, you will be responsible for bringing our characters to life through movement and emotion. You will collaborate with our team of artists, designers and writers to create engaging and dynamic animations that will enhance the storytelling in our projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment, where you can showcase your skills and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality character animations for various projects including films, TV shows, video games, and commercials.
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop animation ideas that align with the overall vision and style of the project.
• Utilize a variety of animation techniques such as keyframe animation, motion capture, and puppetry to create realistic and expressive movements.
• Understand and interpret character designs and translate them into fluid and believable animations.
• Take direction and feedback from the director and make necessary adjustments to meet project requirements.
• Work closely with other animators and team members to ensure consistency and continuity in the animation style.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
• Continuously improve and implement new techniques to enhance the animation process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Character Animator in the animation or gaming industry.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D animation software such as Adobe Animate, Maya, and Toon Boom Harmony.
• Strong understanding of the principles of animation including timing, weight, and motion.
• Excellent knowledge of character anatomy and body mechanics.
• Strong drawing and sketching skills to create storyboards and rough animations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for storytelling and creating engaging characters.
