Position: Facility Maintenance Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Manager to join our team. As the Facility Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment for our employees and guests. You will have a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of our facility, maintaining equipment, and coordinating maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
• Oversee and manage the maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any maintenance needs and address them promptly
• Create and manage a budget for maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely completion of projects
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for major repairs and renovations
• Maintain records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and budget expenditures
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular safety audits and training for staff
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices, implementing new techniques and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to increase the lifespan of equipment and facilities
• Manage and respond to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring timely and efficient resolution
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute facility upgrades and improvements
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed
• Participate in the development of long-term facility maintenance and improvement plans

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a managerial role
• Proven experience in overseeing maintenance staff and coordinating maintenance projects
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
