About the Role: NetNexus Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support and enhance our network systems, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices
• Configure and maintain network services, such as DNS, DHCP, and VPN
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and minimal downtime
• Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for network improvements
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for network issues
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior network engineers and other team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, and QoS
• Experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and network access control
• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting network devices, such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA, are a plus
