Role Overview: As the Managing Director of Investment Banking at Capital Bank Ventures, you will be responsible for leading our investment banking team and overseeing all investment banking activities. You will work closely with our executive leadership team to develop and execute investment strategies, build relationships with clients, and drive revenue growth for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the investment banking department, in alignment with the company’s overall goals and objectives
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of investment bankers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Oversee the execution of investment transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory services
• Monitor and analyze market trends, identifying potential risks and opportunities for the company
• Collaborate with other departments, such as legal, finance, and compliance, to ensure all investment banking activities are conducted in accordance with regulations and company policies
• Provide regular updates and reports to the executive leadership team on the performance of the investment banking department
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences, networking and promoting the company’s brand and services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment banking, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of successfully executing investment transactions and driving revenue growth
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and problem-solve in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficient in financial modeling and analysis
• Professional certifications, such as CFA or CPA, are a plus
