Job Description: As a Data Modeler at AeroSpace Tech, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing data models to support our clients' business needs. You will work closely with our team of data architects, analysts, and engineers to create logical and physical data models that will serve as the foundation for our data solutions. Your main responsibility will be to translate business requirements into data models that accurately represent the data and its relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into data models.
• Create and maintain logical and physical data models using industry-standard modeling tools.
• Identify and document data sources, data definitions, and data lineage.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and data catalogs.
• Ensure data models are optimized for performance and scalability.
• Work closely with the data engineering team to map data from various sources into the data models.
• Perform data analysis to identify data quality issues and work with the data governance team to resolve them.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data modeling and data management.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior data modelers in the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or data warehousing.
• Proficient in data modeling techniques such as entity-relationship diagrams, dimensional modeling, and data normalization.
• Strong experience with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ERWin, or PowerDesigner.
• In-depth understanding of data modeling for relational databases, data warehouses, and big data platforms.
• Familiarity with data modeling in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience with data profiling and data quality tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
