Position Overview: We are seeking a Farm Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Farm Production Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of farm production, including crop and livestock management, equipment maintenance, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and coordinate all farm production activities, including planting, harvesting, and livestock management
• Develop and implement efficient farming practices to ensure maximum yield and profitability
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of crops and livestock, ensuring adequate supply for customer demands
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of farm equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards are met
• Hire, train, and supervise farm staff, providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and quality standards are met
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement effective strategies for farm production and operations
• Maintain accurate records of farm production, expenses, and inventory levels, and provide regular reports to management
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continually improve farm production processes
• Act as a liaison between the farm and external stakeholders, such as suppliers, buyers, and government agencies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in farm production, preferably in a supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of crop and livestock management techniques and best practices
• Experience with farm equipment maintenance and repair
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and farm management software
• Proven track record of meeting production and quality targets
• Understanding of safety regulations and protocols related to farm operations
