Job Title: Messenger Courier

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Messenger Courier. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Messenger Courier will be responsible for delivering packages and documents to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver packages and documents to designated locations
• Plan the most efficient route for delivery
• Ensure all packages and documents are properly labeled and secured
• Obtain necessary signatures for proof of delivery
• Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and pick-ups
• Communicate any delays or issues with delivery to the appropriate parties
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues to the appropriate department
• Keep track of delivery and pick-up schedules
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards clients and colleagues
• Handle any customer inquiries or concerns in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Familiarity with local roads and routes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is an asset
