Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and execution of database migration projects, ensuring all timelines and deliverables are met
Conduct thorough analysis of legacy systems and new database platforms to determine the most efficient and effective migration approach
Develop and implement data migration strategies, including data mapping, ETL processes, and data validation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, data analysts, and project managers, to ensure seamless execution of migration projects
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration process
Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process
Develop and maintain documentation of all migration processes and procedures
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in database technology to continuously improve our migration processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in database administration and migration
Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)
Experience with ETL tools and processes
Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify patterns and trends
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience working in an agile environment is a plus
