Key Responsibilities:

Conduct environmental compliance audits and inspections on company facilities and operations
Review and interpret federal, state, and local environmental regulations to ensure compliance
Develop and implement environmental compliance programs and procedures
Monitor and track environmental permits and reporting requirements
Identify potential environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
Provide training and support to employees on environmental compliance matters
Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required
Assist in the development of sustainability initiatives and goals
Keep up-to-date with changes in environmental regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental compliance
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations at the federal, state, and local level
Experience in conducting environmental audits and inspections
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and environmental compliance software
Knowledge of sustainability best practices is a plus
Professional certifications (e.g. CHMM, PE, etc.) are preferred but not required
