Position Title: Finishing Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Technician to join our dynamic team. The Finishing Technician will be responsible for completing the final steps in the production process for various products. This individual will work closely with our production team to ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards before being released to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct final inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Utilize various hand tools and equipment to complete finishing tasks, such as sanding, polishing, and painting
• Apply coatings and finishes to products using precise techniques to achieve desired results
• Perform touch-ups and repairs on products as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with production team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the finishing process
• Keep accurate records of finishing processes and materials used
• Communicate any quality concerns or suggestions for improvement to management
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of different wood finishes, coatings, and techniques
• Familiarity with various hand tools and equipment used in finishing processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
