Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Law Enforcement Investigator to join our team. As a Law Enforcement Investigator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring public safety and upholding the law. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough investigations into various criminal activities, including but not limited to fraud, theft, and violent crimes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough and objective investigations into reported crimes, gathering evidence through interviews, surveillance, and other methods.
• Analyze collected evidence to determine its relevance and validity in relation to the case.
• Prepare detailed reports of findings and submit them to the appropriate authorities.
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies, such as the police department and district attorney's office, to gather and share information.
• Utilize various investigative techniques and tools, including but not limited to forensic technology, to support the investigation.
• Keep up-to-date with current laws, policies, and procedures related to criminal investigations.
• Testify in court as an expert witness when necessary.
• Develop and maintain relationships with informants and witnesses to gather valuable information.
• Work closely with other members of the investigative team, including detectives and crime scene technicians, to coordinate efforts and ensure a thorough investigation.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in law enforcement investigations.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to criminal investigations.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using various investigative tools and technology.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.
