Position: Digital Print Operator

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Print Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Digital Print Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art digital printing equipment to produce high-quality prints for our clients. You will work closely with our production team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of print projects while maintaining the highest level of quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital printing, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain digital printing equipment to produce high-quality prints according to client specifications
• Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and schedule print jobs to meet deadlines
• Set up and calibrate printing equipment to ensure accurate color and image reproduction
• Monitor and adjust printing parameters to ensure optimal print quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the printing process
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to ensure smooth operation
• Maintain accurate records of print jobs, materials used, and production time
• Ensure that all prints meet quality standards and specifications before final delivery to clients
• Continuously monitor and improve printing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new printing technologies to suggest improvements to the production process
• Train and mentor new team members on digital printing processes and equipment operation

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in printing technology is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Digital Print Operator, preferably in a commercial printing environment
• Extensive knowledge of digital printing equipment, software, and processes
• Strong understanding of color management and print production techniques
• Proficient in using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
