Position: Logistics Packaging Coordinator

Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Packaging Coordinator. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for coordinating the packaging and shipping of our products to various distribution centers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the production team to determine the packaging requirements for each product
• Source and procure packaging materials, ensuring they meet quality and cost specifications
• Create and maintain packaging specifications for each product, including dimensions, weight, and labeling requirements
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of packaging materials
• Oversee the packaging process, ensuring products are packaged correctly and efficiently
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure packaging meets company standards
• Maintain accurate inventory records of packaging materials
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices
• Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickup and delivery of packaged products
• Communicate with customers to provide tracking information and resolve any shipping-related issues
• Continuously monitor and optimize packaging and shipping processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to packaging and shipping

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics or packaging role
• Knowledge of packaging materials, methods, and equipment
• Familiarity with shipping regulations and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Experience in project management is a plus
