Introduction: International Harmony College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Program Director to oversee the development and management of our academic programs. The Academic Program Director will play a crucial role in achieving this goal by leading a team of faculty and staff and working closely with other departments to ensure the success of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the growth and enhancement of academic programs in line with the institution's overall objectives
• Lead and manage a team of faculty and staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Admissions and Student Services, to ensure the smooth functioning and success of academic programs
• Evaluate and update existing programs to meet industry standards and incorporate new technologies and teaching methods
• Develop new programs or courses in response to market demands and industry trends
• Create and manage budgets for academic programs, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness
• Monitor and analyze data on program performance, student enrollment, and feedback to make data-driven decisions and improvements
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as accreditation bodies and industry professionals, to enhance the reputation and credibility of our programs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and accreditation standards
• Promote and market academic programs to attract and retain students
• Participate in faculty hiring, evaluation, and professional development activities
• Serve as a liaison between faculty and administration to address any issues or concerns related to academic programs

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic program development and management, preferably in a higher education setting
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing academic programs and managing teams
• Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in higher education
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
• Proficiency in using technology in educational settings
• Experience with accreditation processes and standards
• Passion for education and commitment to student success
