Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a Delivery Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our delivery services department. Your main goal will be to ensure that all deliveries are completed on time, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the delivery services department, including scheduling, routing, and tracking of deliveries.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of delivery drivers, providing coaching and feedback to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Develop and implement procedures and policies to improve delivery processes and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Analyze delivery data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Monitor and maintain the condition of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are in proper working order and safe for use.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Train new delivery drivers and provide ongoing training to existing drivers to ensure they are up to date on company policies and procedures.
• Conduct performance reviews and make recommendations for promotions, transfers, or disciplinary actions as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in delivery operations management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of improving delivery processes and reducing costs.
• Proficient in using delivery management software and MS Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations for delivery operations.
