Position: Curriculum Development Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for creating and revising educational curriculum materials for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum design, instructional strategies, and educational technologies. The Curriculum Development Specialist will work closely with subject matter experts, educators, and other team members to ensure that our curriculum materials are engaging, effective, and aligned with our organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and revise curriculum materials, including lesson plans, activities, assessments, and other instructional resources
• Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance of curriculum content
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to gather input and feedback on curriculum materials
• Utilize instructional design principles and best practices to create engaging and effective learning experiences
• Incorporate educational technologies and multimedia resources to enhance curriculum materials
• Review and assess existing curriculum materials and make recommendations for improvements
• Ensure that all curriculum materials are aligned with relevant standards and learning objectives
• Stay current with trends and advancements in curriculum development and instructional strategies
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and learning theories
• Experience with educational technologies and multimedia resources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
• Experience in K-12 education preferred
