Job Title: Bartender

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests while ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of mixology, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take and process drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks based on customer requests
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of alcohol and other bar supplies
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures and regulations
• Upsell and promote drink specials and new menu items to customers
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Communicate and collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
• Assist in training new bartenders and barbacks

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in bartending is a plus
• Proven work experience as a Bartender in a high-volume establishment
• Extensive knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and serving techniques
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills
• Basic math and cash handling abilities
• Familiarity with POS systems and knowledge of inventory management
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Bend, stoop, and reach frequently
• Must be able to work in a noisy and crowded environment
• Must have the ability to work in a team setting as well as independently
