Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Distribution Center Manager to join our growing team. As the Distribution Center Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our distribution center, ensuring efficient and effective processes are in place to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in managing a high-volume distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the distribution center's performance and productivity.
• Oversee all aspects of the distribution center operations, including inventory management, order processing, and shipping and receiving.
• Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and conducting regular safety audits.
• Manage and develop a team of warehouse supervisors, coordinators, and associates, providing leadership and guidance to ensure team goals are met.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, implementing improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and purchasing, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and carriers to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in all distribution processes.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the distribution center, including equipment, facilities, and grounds.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution center management.
• Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
• Proven track record of success in managing a high-volume distribution center.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
