Job Description: As a Student Success Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding students towards achieving their academic and career goals. In this role, you will work closely with students to develop personalized plans for academic success, provide resources and support, and empower them to overcome any challenges they may face.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with students regularly to assess their academic progress and provide guidance on achieving their goals
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with students to understand their individual needs and provide personalized support
• Assist students in creating academic plans, setting goals, and selecting courses that align with their career aspirations
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and address students' academic and personal challenges
• Conduct workshops and presentations to educate students on study skills, time management, and other essential skills for academic success
• Serve as a liaison between students and various resources such as tutoring services, counseling, and career services
• Monitor students' academic performance and intervene when necessary to ensure their success
• Stay updated on the institution's policies, procedures, and resources to provide accurate information to students
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance advising skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or related field
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in academic advising or counseling
• Knowledge of higher education policies, procedures, and resources
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with students
• Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information systems
• Passionate about helping students achieve their academic and career goals
