Position Overview: As a Learning Specialist at Horizon Reach College, you will be responsible for creating and implementing effective learning strategies for our organization. You will work closely with the Human Resources team to identify training needs and develop programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the continuous growth and development of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and training needs within the organization
• Develop training programs and materials that align with business objectives and address identified needs
• Utilize various instructional techniques and delivery methods to engage learners and promote knowledge retention
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content
• Facilitate training sessions, both in-person and virtual, for employees at all levels
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback from participants
• Continuously update and improve training materials to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant
• Partner with the HR team to develop career development plans for employees
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development to incorporate into training programs
• Provide coaching and support to managers to assist with the development of their team members
• Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to deliver specialized training programs as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Learning Specialist or similar role
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Experience with virtual training tools and platforms
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and adjust training delivery accordingly
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
