Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Security Supervisor to join our team. As a Safety and Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, customers, and facilities. You will oversee a team of security personnel and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety and security policies and procedures in accordance with company standards and regulations.
• Train and supervise security personnel to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Conduct regular safety and security audits to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions to mitigate them.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and maintain records of any unusual activities or incidents.
• Conduct investigations and prepare reports on any security breaches or incidents.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
• Keep up-to-date with current safety and security regulations and make necessary updates to company policies.
• Manage the budget for security operations and ensure cost-effective measures are implemented.
• Develop relationships with external law enforcement agencies and security vendors.
• Monitor and maintain security equipment, such as CCTV cameras and access control systems, to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Conduct background checks on potential employees and contractors to ensure a safe working environment.
• Respond to any security-related emergencies and provide guidance and support to security personnel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing safety and security policies and procedures.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
• In-depth knowledge of safety and security regulations and protocols.
• Proficiency in using security equipment and software.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
