Job Summary: As a Tour Guide and Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our tours run smoothly and exceed the expectations of our clients. You will be responsible for leading tour groups, managing logistics, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable about the local culture, history, and attractions of Ayutthaya, Thailand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead tour groups of various sizes and demographics, providing engaging and informative commentary throughout the tour
• Coordinate all aspects of tour logistics including transportation, accommodation, and activities
• Create and maintain detailed itineraries for each tour, ensuring that all activities are executed as planned
• Monitor and adjust tour schedules to accommodate unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or unexpected closures
• Act as the main point of contact for tour participants, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Collaborate with local vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable rates and maintain positive working relationships
• Train and supervise junior tour guides, providing guidance and support as needed
• Conduct pre-tour and post-tour evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with current events, trends, and attractions in Ayutthaya, Thailand to continuously enhance tour offerings and provide accurate information to tour participants
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during tours
• Assist with marketing efforts by creating engaging content for social media and other platforms to promote tours and attract new clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a tour guide, preferably in Ayutthaya, Thailand
• Strong knowledge of the local culture, history, and attractions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with tour management software is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
