Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement climate education programs for students, teachers, and the general public
Conduct research on climate change and its impact on different regions and communities
Create educational materials, such as lesson plans, presentations, and interactive activities
Collaborate with other specialists and educators to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of educational materials
Conduct training sessions for educators to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to teach about climate change
Organize and facilitate workshops, webinars, and other events to promote climate education
Stay updated on the latest developments and research in the field of climate change and education
Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary improvements
Develop partnerships with schools, organizations, and community groups to expand the reach of climate education initiatives
Serve as a spokesperson for the organization on matters related to climate education
Participate in conferences and events to share knowledge and best practices in climate education

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, education, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in climate education or a related field
Strong knowledge of climate change science and its impact on different regions and communities
Excellent research and analytical skills
Experience in developing and delivering educational programs
Proficiency in creating educational materials, such as lesson plans, presentations, and interactive activities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for environmental conservation and education
Flexibility to travel for workshops and events
