Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Community Education Specialist to join our team. As a Community Education Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing educational programs to support the needs of our community. You will work closely with community organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to promote educational opportunities and facilitate learning for individuals of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement educational programs and initiatives to address the needs of the community.
• Collaborate with community organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to identify educational needs and gaps in the community.
• Plan and organize educational events, workshops, and activities to engage and educate community members.
• Conduct research to identify relevant resources and materials for educational programs.
• Create and distribute educational materials, such as brochures, flyers, and online content.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to promote educational opportunities and resources.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor and track program outcomes and report on progress to stakeholders.
• Provide training and support to volunteers and staff involved in educational programs.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in community education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in community education or a similar role.
• Knowledge of community resources and educational programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with educational software and tools.
• Passion for education and making a positive impact in the community.
