Role Overview: As the Refinery Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operations within the refinery. You will lead a team of operators and supervisors to ensure the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the refinery. Your knowledge of process engineering, plant operations, and safety procedures will be vital in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to optimize refinery operations, increase productivity, and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Manage and develop a team of operators and supervisors, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Prepare and manage the refinery budget, ensuring that all expenses are within budget and any variances are addressed.
Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve refinery operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in refinery operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of process engineering, plant operations, and safety procedures.
Proven experience in managing a team and achieving operational targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and experience in implementing sustainable practices in refinery operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in computer applications and experience with process simulation software is a plus.
