Job Description: VintageVines Selection is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. As a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's cloud infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our cloud-based applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, deployment, and monitoring of cloud resources.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of cloud-based applications and services.
• Implement and maintain security measures and best practices for our cloud environment.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with our cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure the stability and performance of our cloud environment.
• Monitor and analyze cloud usage and costs, and make recommendations for optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and best practices, and provide suggestions for improvements to our infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
• Strong experience in infrastructure as code using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• In-depth understanding of networking, security, and performance tuning in a cloud environment.
• AWS certification (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
