Job Title: Metal Finisher

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Metal Finisher to join our team. As a Metal Finisher, you will be responsible for finishing metal products to meet specific quality standards. This position requires excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform finishing operations on various metal products using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments as needed
• Follow blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine finishing requirements for each metal product
• Prepare surfaces for finishing by cleaning, sanding, and polishing
• Apply various finishes to metal products, such as paint, powder coating, and plating
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to complete finishing processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Communicate any issues or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner
• Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in metal finishing or related field
• Strong knowledge of various metal finishing techniques and processes
• Proficient in using hand and power tools, as well as operating machinery
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends if required
