Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Furniture Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for furniture and interior design, along with exceptional sales and customer service skills. This role requires a strong ability to build relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide them with the best solutions to meet their furniture requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting furniture products based on their individual needs and preferences.
• Conduct sales transactions in an efficient and accurate manner, utilizing various payment methods.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all furniture products, including materials, features, and benefits.
• Collaborate with customers to create customized furniture orders, utilizing product catalogs and computer programs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and handling special requests.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing showroom, ensuring all products are properly displayed and labeled.
• Utilize strong sales techniques and product knowledge to upsell and cross-sell additional furniture items and accessories.
• Meet and exceed sales goals by consistently achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Actively participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor product offerings to remain competitive in the market.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and receiving and tagging new products.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase sales and customer base.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture sales or related field.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of furniture products, materials, and design trends.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
